I looked forward to my weekly class having done Pilates for a number of years. This is the first class where you were put through your paces. There was no messing in Tammi's class and you felt well exercised at the end of the hour. Dublin's loss is definitely Cape Town's gain!
I had been taking pilates courses for about 2 years before I started group classes with Tammi and loved the added tone and flexibility I had gained. But it wasn't until Tammi's classes that I felt I was really working my body, progressing through to more difficult poses and achieving the shape and skill I wanted. From just a glance Tammi can tell if you are doing something wrong, even if it's just one muscle in your neck! She knows what your body is capable of even if you don't know yourself and pushes you to your full potential. I haven't yet found another pilates instructor who encourages me to work so hard but makes it enjoyable it at the same time.
